Overview
The wealth and value of a geographic area often consist of its unique production processes in which it originated, whose high quality traits make them able to come out from the general productive environment, . food and manufacturing craft or characterized by a typical can connote them strongly and make them emerge from the anonymous general production landscape. Typical products are constantly at risk for counterfeiting, such as the national and international media frequently reported, and this makes consumers more and more skeptical about the guarantee of origin of products. Products that should be the economic driver of the areas of origin.
Another of the major risks to the supply chains of quality, is not to transfer to consumers the added value of care and the rules that certify the production cycle and that sanction the "uniqueness", often chasing "substantial changes to reduce costs.

Anti Counterfeiting

the material, the result of advanced research and experimentation, has characteristics that prevent it from playing and removal once applied

Institutional Repository
The Institutional Repository, managed by the CNR (National Research Council), is the “third body”, an institution recognized internationally.
It works by "official register" to secure the supply chain of information associated with each label.The Repository is the reference point for agencies and institutions that perform tasks for the mandate and mission of the fight against counterfeiting, fraud and safety and food hygiene. The mission of the CNR research and innovation is essential to maintain the state of the art technology and techniques system.

It is the platform multi-industry which, thanks to its architecture 100% "web based", allows you to track products throughout the supply chain path, recording events, nodes, and so any changes (with a direct intervention of all stakeholders).

CNR has the lead role of "Institutional Repository", also it implements the specifications previously approved by the CT-SI, InfoSeal Technical Committee. The National Research Council (CNR) is a public organization with the task to carry out, promote, spread, transfer and improve research activities in the main sectors of knowledge growth and of its applications for the scientific, technological, economic and social Country. The central management of the National Research Council is the institution internationally recognized by the entire scientific community.
